We’re very happy to announce that we’ve added WordPress’s wp_mail() as a carrier service to our email component!

If the additional costs of SparkPost dissuaded you from using our plugin in the past, please consider coming back on board!

For example I’m writing this message in a blog post’s excerpt field which is then used in the generation of an automated email.

Now that wp_mail() has been added as a service we’re no longer bound to using SparkPost and can use whatever SMTP service we’ve connected to WordPress to send our emails!

Click the link below to keep reading about our latest addition. I talk over the drawbacks and perks of using wp_mail() as a service, and also address what to do with high bounce rates.
