Get help with difficult WordPress projects

Codeable.io provides over 500 senior WordPress Experts that can help you get past dead ends.

wordpressleadsKnowing as much as you possibly can about your potential customers will give you the upper hand in sales.

It’s just common sense.

But how can you gather intelligence from someone browsing your site?

Google analytics is a good start but all that data is anonymous and can’t tell you what specific visitor is taking all of those steps on your site.

Gathering advanced lead intelligence about specific website visitors is quite simple and something you can setup on your site in under 5 minutes, for free.

Using the FREE (as in speech) WordPress Leads WordPress plugin, you can gather a bunch of useful information on your site visitors.

The WordPress Leads Plugin Collects:

  • Pages viewed on the site
  • Geographic data of where leads are converting from
  • Past Companies/Work history
  • Social Media Data on the lead
  • Demographic information
  • Interests and Specialities
  • Landing Page Conversions (with WordPress Landing Pages Installed)
  • Calls to Actions Clicked (with WordPress CTA installed)
  • & whatever else you might want to track. The plugin is extendable.

This data is critical for making better business decisions and you can leverage the data to make better sales calls.

How does it work?

WordPress Leads listens to form submissions on your site and saves the lead data in the backend of WordPress for you. This works with any standard HTML form. We use it with Gravity forms, but you can use it with any form plugin out there.

The plugin also listens in on page views the visitor is taking and stores the complete site history in their respective lead profile.

This is great for following up with leads because you know exactly the pages they have seen on your site and can identify what they might be interested in before even following up.

What does a lead look like?

Below you can see an example of a typical lead profile. The first example doesn’t have the free social API plugged in but we still get the page views, demographics, form data, and past conversions reported to us.

The second example has the full contact social api plugged in and is able to pull in additional information on your leads.

How to Plugin Your Full Contact API for additional Data

So now you should see the power of WordPress leads as a business tool, now to get some of the additional data on your leads.

Follow the steps below to set that up.

Creating a fullcontact account is free for 250 leads per month. (which should be plenty of api calls for most companies).

This 250 api call from fullcontact has no effect on the WordPress Leads plugin from functioning normally, you can collect an unlimited amount of leads on your site, you just might need to wait for your monthly api refresh to get additional social data if you have maxed your limits.

Create Account

Go to http://www.fullcontact.com/developer/ and click sign up (its free)

Or Grab your API key from the email Full Contact Sends You

Insert Your API key into the Leads > Setttings Page and save your options.
