How to connect Google Analytics to Inbound Now
The Google Analytics Extension is available complimentary to Inbound Now Subcribers.
Step 1: Google Analytics
Open Google Analytics under the Inbound Now tab on your WordPress dashboard.
Open the link https://console.developers.google.com/ from step 1 in a new tab.
Step 2: Creating a New Credential
Under the Overview tab, make sure that your Analytics API is Enabled.
Select the Credential tab.
From the Create Credentials drop-down menu select the OAuth client ID option.
For the application type, choose Web Application. Once selected, a form will appear. Name the credential.
Leave the JavaScript portion blank.
For the Authorized redirect URIs portion go back to the Google Analytics tab.
Copy the URI in Step 3 and paste the link in the blank under Authorized redirect URIs. Click save.
Step 3: Inputting IDs
A window will pop up with your Client ID and Client Secret Key.
Copy the Client ID and go back to the Google Analytics tab. Paste the ID in the blank labeled API Client ID.
Do the same for the Client Secret ID.
Once you have input both IDs, click Save Credentials.
Step 4: Linking Profile to Website
A Step 2 section will appear once saved. Open the link to authorize your Google account in a new tab.
Click Allow so that the app may view your Google Analytics data.
Once your account is authorized, associate your profile with your website.
Select your profile from the drop-down menu and click Link Website.
linked! will appear when it has been done successfully.
Step 5: All done! Good Job!
You can now view stats relative to the content you publish:
