SparkPost now supported for Inbound Now’s WordPress email client.
When we first launched our Email Client back at the beginning of 2016 we chose to use Mandrill to power our emails. They were independent, they provided 20k free emails a month, and they had an excellent API we could use to perform split tests, newsletters, and automated emails.
Right about the time we released our new client to the public, Mandrill released a statement that they were being absorbed into the MailChimp ecosystem and made available to only MailChimp users.
Part of the appeal of choosing to use Inbound Now is that it will help a user rid themselves of monthly subscriptions to autoresponders, as well as other Landing Page, CRM, and Analytics SAAS companies. This news from Mandrill was unfortunate and took our users in the opposite direction of where we wanted to take them.
We began looking for an alternative. We had into the 27th of April to get one in or our product offering would devalue.
We found our solution in SparkPost.
