SparkPost webhook bug after latest update.

There was an unforeseen consequence of changing the plugin folder name from wp-content/plugins/_inbound-now/ to /wp-content/plugins/inbound-pro/ for those who have “Fast Ajax” activated.

When SparkPost sends message events to your website it’s telling WordPress to load the plugin from it’s older spot which causes message events to not be recorded.

There are two ways to fix this currently:

  1. Turn off Fast Ajax.
  2. Manually update the SparkPost webhook URL

Turn off Fast Ajax

Head into wp-admin->Inbound Pro->Settings and find the Fast Ajax Setting and disable it.

Manually update SparkPost webhook URL

Future installations will not be affected.
