Improvement to Calls to Action component in latest release

Inbound Analytics is now integrated with our Calls to Action component. The latest update will implement for Inbound Pro plugin users and the expanded statistics will only render for subscription holders.

It’s important to note that the there are two sets of statistics inside the CTA listing screen and CTA edit screen, one shows the results of your variant tests and can be reset at any time, while the other shows comprehensive impression and conversion stats as they are stored inside our events table. Inbound Analytics figures cannot be reset but can be restructured by time ranges. If you are looking for controlled tests, use the split testing tool and counters.

Overall totals do not match split testing totals

You may notice that the overall totals do not match the figures you’d expect. That is because we only very recently started storing impression and conversion data into our tracking tables, whereas before we depended on a data storage system that leverages WordPress’s postmeta api.

More conversions than impressions

If you notice that conversions are greater than impressions, that is natural too. We switched to the new impression tracking system this release, while CTA related click and form submission actions have been being stored in our events database.
